Carolyn Brown is the Head of Commerce Marketing for Anheuser-Busch. Carolyn has a dedicated Commerce & Direct-To-Consumer merchandise team, based across New York City and St. Louis. In this role she oversees the integration of digital marketing, media, shopper marketing and direct-to-consumer platforms under one connected commerce strategy, in close partnership with the sales organization. Her team supports the full portfolio of Anheuser-Busch brands, including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, the company’s craft portfolio, as well as Beyond Beer brands such as Cutwater ready-to-drink cocktails, NUTRL vodka seltzers, Hiball Energy drink and an extensive line of hard seltzers. Connected Commerce is a key pillar of the company’s digital transformation agenda.
Prior to this role, Carolyn spent nearly five years leading and developing the eCommerce team, from its origins in ZX Ventures to integrating the Joint Business Planning, category management and marketing strategy functions within the US organization. In this role, she oversaw the company’s strategy and relationships with all retailers selling Anheuser-Busch beverage brands online in the US, including Walmart, Instacart, Gopuff, and Amazon.
Carolyn has been with Anheuser-Busch for eleven years, and has held a number of roles across the US Sales Organization and within ZX Ventures. Carolyn lives in her home town of St. Louis, MO, with her husband Brandon, their son, and their dog, Charlie Brown. She graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. She is an avid Cardinals fan, and loves skiing, hiking and golf.
