Christopher Doering is the senior editor for Food Dive in Washington, D.C., where he covers the food and grocery industries, with a special focus on mergers and acquisitions, shifting consumer tastes and buying patterns, regulations and other topics. Previously, he reported on food and agriculture for Reuters and USA Today in Washington, with coverage of recalls, the Food Safety Modernization Act, trade and GMO labeling. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. When he's not working for Food Dive, Christopher can be found running, swimming and spending time with his wife and young son.
