Rich is a digitally native marketer with a passion for truly great advertising, which he appreciates even more than an – equally rare – amazing restaurant (#foodie).
He is currently Burger King’s Vice President, Marketing Communications and oversees advertising, design, media, merchandising/POP, organic social for the brand in North America.
Before joining Burger King, Rich spent almost 20 years with Doyle Dane Bernbach and Tribal Worldwide. He was a key member of the team that developed “Exclusive the Rainbow”, Skittles’ 2018 Super Bowl campaign which was recognized as the year’s most awarded advertising by The Drum, and “Broadway the Rainbow”, Skittles 2019 Super Bowl Campaign which was named the funniest Super Bowl commercial despite not airing in the game.
His experience spans multiple categories and industries including brands such as 3 Musketeers, adidas, Advil, AVEENO, Bailey’s, Budweiser, Centrum, Disney Cruise Lines, Eukanuba, Ford, Good Humor/Heartbrand, Guinness, H&R Block, IAMs, Jose Cuervo, McDonald’s, Milky Way, Neutrogena, Quaker Oats, Reebok, RoC, Royal Canin, Sunsilk, SyFy, and Universal Studios.
Rich earned an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as well as a B.A. with Honors from Indiana University Bloomington.
