Annalee Schlossberg is a 25-year-old Cornell University graduate and the entrepreneur behind Bel-Fries - a New York-based venture specializing in perfecting Belgian fries and artisanal sauces. Their flagship location opened in the Lower East Side in 2020 and has since expanded to six additional NYC locations, with plans to expand into malls. Bel-Fries offers a sophisticated twist on street food, presenting thicker cut, twice-fried, and seasoned fries in cones alongside artisanal sauces like Black Truffle Mayo, Smoky Chipotle, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Honey Mustard, and Sriracha Mayo. The brand combines the long-perfected Belgian frying traditions with the iconic American spirit, setting a new standard for fries. They have added popcorn chicken to our menu as well for those looking for a protein in their snack. Fries originated in Belgium and not France, so the company’s goal is to rename French Fries to Bel-Fries. The brand's exponential growth is changing the future of street food in America, bringing famous European frying techniques to the forefront.
