Director of Shopper Marketing MilkPEP

Michele V. Brier is the director of shopper marketing at MilkPEP, the Milk Processor Education Program which represents America’s milk brands. Michele is responsible for developing robust shopper marketing programs featuring insight-based, turnkey solutions and resources to milk brands, enabling them to become category captains for key customers.

Michele’s professional portfolio has focused on marketing communications, product marketing and sales with more than 15 years in the food industry. She has worked with and sold into retailers of all sizes and understands how to motivate customers to buy throughout the shopper journey. In addition, Michele has held several senior-level positions at Cuisine Solutions, an international foodservice company; E.James White, an integrated marketing communications agency, and the American College of Emergency Physicians, the world’s largest organization of emergency physicians.

Michele’s close work with chefs, bakers, grocery store executives, product manufacturers, and physicians combined with her personal interest in health and nutrition led her study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach, accredited by the Association of Drugless Practitioners. Michele also holds a B.A. in Communications from James Madison University. Michele lives in the Washington, DC Metro area with her fast-growing teens and tiny dog Mocha.
