Jupiter is a social commerce food company founded out of Stanford in 2019. It uses food content to drive CPG advertising on social media and online grocery platforms. By allowing recipe content on social media to be shopped directly, Jupiter helps to attract new customers to online grocery ecommerce experiences. It also identifies the most effective content in driving shopping intent and shares them with online grocery websites to improve customer engagement and order values online. Jupiter has already aggregated over 100,000 pieces of content from world-class creators, including Molly Baz, Half Baked Harvest, and Carolina Gelen. Its first product offering for CPGs was launched in Q4 of 2022 and has already attracted top brands like Kettle & Fire, Vital Farms Eggs, Pete & Gerry’s Eggs, among others. Jupiter is funded by NFX and Khosla Ventures.
